MapActive course dates for Autumn/Winter 2025 are 15 and 29 November and 13 December.
This is the 7th version of our popular course for newcomers and those with some map-reading experience who want to improve their map & compass skills.
The three sessions will be held at 10:30 to 12:20 at parks in the greater Nottingham area.
Suitable for adults of any age (walkers, joggers or runners) and adults with a child of 8 years+.
We've changed for format this time so there's the possibility of booking for all three sessions or for just 1 or 2 sessions if you can't make all the dates. We will tailor the exercises so that everyone makes progress at their own pace.
Participants on the course will be able to try out their skills at the club's Christmas event at Strawberry Hill, Rainworth for a reduced entry fee.
