Planner/Organiser Comments Cool enough for a good run after warm sunny days. I was pleased with the turn out - particularly so many family groups, and even a group of local children who wanted a piece of the action for themselves, and wanted us to put on the same activity each day for the rest of the week. The actual number of people who went round white and yellow was much greater than the results show.

Quite a large number of disqualification's on the Light Green course. Seven people confused a stream source with the well. I know that the map has no legend, and that the well was dry and the stream source was watery, perhaps people were not checking the code numbers on the kites with their control description sheet. If it is more than that - please tell me! Did I overestimate the length of this course - some very fast times!

Two apologies to Score competitors. Firstly there were more people at the event than we had expected and I had to ration maps - you would have been better off with two. Secondly I ought to have numbered the score controls in a different way from those on Light Green.

Huge thanks to the Claxton Family and Hazel Rice for making the administration work well. At busy times we should have had an additional person - but this was meant to be a lean and mean organisation and it was!
