Planner's Comments Another potentially good small area, once the protective fences have gone, but very unfriendly this time of year. 4 months ago I could have planned courses up to 5km on one map. About half of the area is presently impassable without a machete. This meant a second Green map, and a bit of repetition, but I felt that was preferable to sending you through much worse grot than anything you went through today. Were we lucky or very lucky with the weather ?! Thanks for coming in such numbers - sorry that so many came that we had to reclaim some Green maps, even though I'd exceeded the normal print run by 33%. I have a very small number left so if you would like yours back, I will happily post it - first come first served. Alternatively I can send you a JPEG version by e-mail. org20070722@noc-uk.org. Very many thanks to Jane and Dave Booker for doing most of the work on the day.

Lost property: Silva compass with Perry whistle. The organiser of the next event, on 12th August at Oxclose Wood, has it and will take it there. If you own it but are not going to Oxclose please let Keith Streb know - org20070812@noc-uk.org.
