One last thing. Always remember, you must report to the finish even if you retire. At the end of the event we had a yellow stub and no control card which creates extra problems for the finish team.

Long Relay runners might have found course S3 a surprise, as I was able to keep you in the forest more than on the tracks. Thanks to John for vigilant controlling, Richard for smooth organising and the general public for not disturbing a single control (last time I planned here 7 sites were vandalised).
As no one ran the Short Relay, next year would competitors prefer just 2 relays?

I must also comment on the smooth running of the organisation, as I know Richard had not had any experience of helping in any capacity at a relay before today; I'm glad to say that today's participants would have been blissfully unaware of that fact.
