Park in the Country Park £1 pay and display or on the roadside in the business park.

This event is suitable for newcomers.
You only need to come suitably dressed and shod for a walk or run in the terrain which is Parkland.
Newcomers can enter in advance online. Entry on the day may be available but is subject to map availability.
We like to help newcomers to get started. Please email to let us know
that you are coming and we will allocate someone to help you.

Courses: ... explanation
45 min Score and with a 'twist'. Competitors will have a 45 minute limit to find as many controls as they can. The controls / checkpoints can be visited in any order and will 'earn' different points which will be indicated on the map. Extra optional 'bonus' controls will be available..

The park is set in beautiful countryside just south of Ruddington.

Punching System:
Timing is by SportIdent
Contactless punching is enabled for those with SIACs.
Everybody must punch conventionally at the Start and Finish

Start:
Close to the Visitor Centre. Enquiries and SI hire collection in the Visitor Centre.

Close to the Visitor Centre. Download your timing card in the Visitor Centre.

Notes:
The lake and railway line are fenced. 2 crossing points over the business park road will be marked on the map; not everyone will choose this route.

Safety:


The Competitor Safety Slip can be downloaded and brought to registration if you wish to leave medical or emergency contact details. You may place in a sealed envelope. The slip will be only accessible to the organiser or first aiders and will be destroyed after the event.

Child Safety:
Children under 16 are advised to stay in the main country park area and not visit 2 controls which would need crossing the road in the business park.

QMC A&E at NG7 2UH. A map to find the hospital will be available from Race HQ in the visitor centre.
